Washington University Medical Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Pediatric Research Building, 4905 Children's Place at Euclid, on the Medical Campus. The Medical Bookstore carries medical reference books and other textbooks, computers, gifts, apparel, and supplies.

Bear Necessities is a not-for profit gift store run by the Women's Society. Located in the new Umrath House on the South 40, Bear Necessities offers a great selection of Washington University apparel, gifts, and souvenirs, as well as freshly baked birthday cakes. Bear Necessities is open seven days a week.
