Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center

Dedicated in October 2001, the Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center is the Olin Business School’s residential living and learning facility.

With five stories and more than 135,000 square feet, the Knight Center contains classrooms, conference rooms, lounges, 66 guest rooms, a 225-seat dining area, administrative offices, a boardroom and amenities that include a fitness center and pub.

Charles F. Knight is an international business leader, longtime supporter of Washington University in St. Louis and the John M. Olin School of Business, and chairman emeritus of Emerson. During his tenure as chief executive officer from 1973 to 2000, Knight’s vision helped lead Emerson to record growth and excellent performance, positioning the company as a global leader in bringing together technology and engineering to create solutions for the benefit of customers in a variety of major industries. His management practices have become a model of business leadership for professionals and students alike. In the community, he is recognized for his dedication to making St. Louis a better place to live and work.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on March 24, 1999.
