The Intramural Recreation Fields provide space for students to practice athletics, compete in intramural games and relax.
The Department of Athletics organizes a number of intramural sports throughout the year.
Located on the north part of the South 40, the intramural recreation fields are easily accessed by students. Many of the club sports practice on these fields. Some of the intramural sports played on these fields are ultimate frisbee, flag football and soccer.
These fields also housed political demonstrators during the 2004 Presidential Debate at Washington University in St. Louis.
